What to expect during the Introductory Call

Our 15-minute Introductory Call is a chance for you and Cary Cuevas, RDN, LD, MES, to:

  • Talk through your health concerns and goals

  • Share the type of support you’re looking for

  • Ask any questions about working with a Registered Dietitian

The goal is to make sure this is the right fit for you. If another provider is a better match, we’ll encourage you to choose what best supports your success.

How It Works

  1. Book Online – You’ll receive a confirmation email right away.

    • Phone Call: Cary will call you at your scheduled time.

    • Virtual Call: You’ll receive a Zoom link.

  2. Consultation – Cary will briefly share her background, then focus on your goals, questions, and the support you need.

  3. Next Steps – If you choose to move forward, we’ll schedule your first session and set up your account in our secure health portal (Healthie).

Getting Started with Healthie

After scheduling, you’ll receive an invitation to create your account in Healthie (our HIPAA-compliant platform). You’ll complete:

  • HIPAA & consent forms

  • Health insurance information (if applicable)

  • A health history questionnaire

Healthie also serves as your secure platform for online sessions and record-keeping.

What to Expect Long-Term

  • Cary has 16+ years of experience helping individuals and groups make sustainable lifestyle changes.

  • Permanent change takes time — most clients benefit from 10–15 sessions over 4–6 months, then check-ins as needed.

  • Every plan is personalized and may need adjustments to best support your success.
