Most health insurance plans include coverage for nutrition services designed to support healthy eating habits—even if you don’t have an existing health condition. These services are often considered part of your plan’s preventive care benefits, which may mean no deductibles, copays, or coinsurance apply.To find out what’s covered under your plan:Check with your insurance provider to confirm if nutrition services are included as a preventive benefit.Ask how many sessions are covered per year.If your plan doesn’t cover nutrition counseling as preventive care, you may still qualify for coverage if you have a qualifying condition such as being overweight, obese, having high blood pressure, or having diabetes. In these cases, deductibles, copays, or coinsurance may apply.For residents outside of Oregon, we currently only accept BlueCross BlueShield plans.

The number and frequency of sessions will depend on your individual goals and the level of support you need. We don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach—some clients feel one or two sessions are enough, while others benefit from meeting more frequently for ongoing guidance and accountability.Session Details:Sessions typically last 75-90 minutes, but can be adjusted to 45–60 minutes based on your needs.If using health insurance, we can only bill after each session. We will invoice any copays or coinsurance accordingly.If your insurance doesn't cover nutrition services, or we're not in-network, we accept out-of-pocket payments. No packages, subscriptions, or minimum commitments required.Rates range from $75 to $200 per session, billed 48 hours before your appointment. We offer both in-person and telehealth appointments to fit your preferences and lifestyle.Many clients in the Portland area choose to start with an in-person session at Aspire Total Fitness in Happy Valley, followed by virtual follow-ups. Others prefer to meet exclusively in person or virtually—whatever works best for you.In-person sessions take place in a private training space where we can take measurements (optional) and discuss your goals in a comfortable setting.Virtual Sessions are conducted through Healthie, a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. Through Healthie, you’ll have access to your care plan, goals, and personalized recommendations—all in one convenient portal.

We know life can be unpredictable, so we stay flexible. Clear communication helps avoid fees for missed appointments. Self-Pay Clients: Payment is required 48 hours in advance. To avoid losing your session fee, please cancel at least 48 hours before your appointment. If you reschedule, you will not be charged again for the session fee. Rescheduling or canceling the second appointment will result in forfeiting the session fee.Insurance Clients: A $75 fee may apply for late cancellations (less than 48 hours' notice) or no-shows, as we cannot bill these appointments to your insurance. Yes, we gladly accept Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) debit or credit card payments. If needed, we’re happy to provide a detailed receipt for proof of service or reimbursement purposes.
